The use of the pronoun I and most of the pronoun I and I to denote the speaker is anextremely common habit among RastafariansIndeed, they consider each person as anelement of a whole. Thus, in the tradition, half of the Bible was not written, and lies in theheart of man. In this way, if a rasta listening to his heart, he knows what the Bible written, itwill recognize and hear the divine message.
Both I and represent the so common in the first, and for the second, the divine selfin connection with JahMany other expressions are rasta and refer to this concept, as "eachand everyone," and the famous "stick a bush", which inspired one of the same name asGladiators, literally: every hoe HAS ITS stick in the bush or each sheet has a place in thebush, every leaf has its diversity, but is a member of the same tree, in which flows the same sap.
This concept is fundamental to explain the unity rasta despite different beliefs and ideas.
